Ben Young is well-remembered at at the University of Southern Mississippi for this set of songs from a coffeehouse music performance on the anniversary of the death of John Lennon while terrorists threatened to explode a bomb at the Washington Monument December 8, 1982. His version of American Pie is poignantly appropriate now that Ben is gone. Unfortunately, the video tape machine failed and the visual portion of the recording was lost.
